More projects during an already busy summer.  I was commissioned to write an opera for film by Opera Theater Oregon.  We were participating in the 48 Film Fest, in which teams have but 2 days to write and produce a short film.  The project ended up being a remarkable success, with a crew of over 80 people, the Opera Cinema Strike Force team did amazing work in every department.   Writing an opera for orchestra and chorus in 6 hours was a huge challenge, but with the work of some excellent players and star conductor Tuesday Rupp, we pulled off the nearly impossible; composing, rehearsing and recording an opera in the space of 12 hours.
