An air of romance pervades the Sapphire, with its above-bar bedroom diorama, artful assortment 45-10 menu, of antiques, small zigzag bar, and a cozy wood stove anchoring a charming conversation area. Expensive eyewear crowd canoodles quietly over well-crafted cocktails ($5 premium well), and small plates. Sidewalk seating available, given the weather. Live jazz and acoustic acts booked sporadically.
